CompTIA, ChannelPro and the Channel Tech Network Among the Latest Industry Leaders to Support Cloud Channel Summit

Additional Channel Associations, Publications and Other Key Organizations Endorse Channel-Focused Conference Ecosystem

CompTIA, the largest association of technology solution providers; ChannelPro, a leading publication dedicated to helping solution providers stay abreast of industry best practices; and the Channel Tech Network, a rapily growing online resource spotlighting industry trends and success stories, are the latest channel-oriented organizations to support the Cloud Channel Summit, hosted by THINKstrategies, the Cloud Computing Showplace and Rising Tide Media on Monday, November 7.

These organizations join an expanding array of sponsors, partners and speakers participating in the one-day forum focused on building successful channel relationships in the Cloud. The Cloud Channel Summit will take place at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA, and bring together senior executives from leading Cloud Computing vendors and their channel company counterparts to share industry best practices and innovative ideas for building profitable and successful channel partnerships in the Cloud.

"We are very excited to welcome CompTIA, ChannelPro and the Channel Tech Network to the Cloud Channel Summit's ecosystem of industry leaders," said Jeffrey M. Kaplan, Managing Director of THINKstrategies and Founder of the Cloud Computing Showplace.

The conference will kickoff with a keynote presentation by Stephen Cho, Google's Director of Channels and Business Development, entitled "Making Rain in the Channel: New Opportunities in Cloud Computing."

A growing number of Cloud vendors have also become sponsors of the Summit, such as IBM, Agilis Solutions, AppDirectGoodData, Safenet, Scribe Software and SoftServe.

The Summit is also being supported by many other industry organizations dedicated to building strong channels and promoting the Cloud, including publications such as Cloudbook, Sandhill.com, Datamation, E-Commerce Times and Softletter; conference groups including Under the Radar, the World Research Group and Keynote World Media; industry associations such as the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) and the ASCII Group; and other companies, such as DreamSimplicity, a virtual community and marketplace directory for business applications and the industry professionals that deliver them, and Mikael Blaisdell & Associates, Inc. (MBAI), which assists a wide spectrum of clients to increase their customer retention rates and enhance per-customer profitability.
