The new year has brought even greater attention to the rapidly growing Cloud Computing market, and plenty of new activity for THINKstrategies and the Cloud Computing Showplace.

 

The new Showplace has added 45 new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) company listings in the past 30 days.

 

This brings the total number of companies listed on the Showplace to nearly 1650, offering thousands of on-demand solutions divided into over 90 Application, Industry, Service and Technology categories.

 

Showplace visitors can keep track of the latest Cloud vendors to add their company information to the Showplace by quickly checking the marked box on the homepage, below the sponsor logo-roll, which lists the ten most recent companies added to the online directory, along with a real-time tally of the total number of companies in the Showplace. We have also added more links to the latest news, views and events.

 

The Cloud Computing Showplace is also quickly gaining industry recognition, as you'll see below. It is also gratifying to have been named of one of the "Five Cloud Computing Channel Experts to Track" by Talkin' Cloud

 

We are also pleased to continue to highlight and promote specific Cloud Computing companies that are delivering measurable business benefits to their users through our ongoing Best of SaaS Showplace (BoSS) and Cloud Computing Business Value (CCBV) Award programs.

 

In addition, I have been busy consulting with various vendors and corporate decision-makers about how they can capitalize on the business benefits of today's rapidly evolving Cloud Computing phenomenon.

 

In these and other ways, THINKstrategies is continuing to fulfill its mission of advising and educating corporate decision-makers, solution providers, investors, press and others about the business implications of this unprecedented trend.
